EvoMusArt 2026
International Conference on AI in Music, Sound, Art and Design
Toulouse, France • April 2026
We will present the paper at EvoMusArt, the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Music, Sound, Art and Design in Toulouse, France, in April.
About the Research
The paper describes an experiment in using generative AI to aid in the creation of songs fusing modernity with traditional musical styles of Mali's different ethnic groups, with lyrics in many of the national languages of Mali (and sometimes in French) specifically around the theme of national unity. The paper itself is a unique, sensorial experience, with links to compositions analyzed in the paper.
The 15th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Music, Sound, Art and Design (EvoMUSART) 2026 is a multidisciplinary conference that brings together researchers who are working on the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques in creative and artistic fields.
