This unit presents the game VIQRC 2023-24, Full Volume, and provides general and game-specific definitions for competitions that run according to the Full Volume rules.

After completing this unit, a student should be able to:
- Define general terms and conditions of VIQRC games
- Define key terms for VIQRC Full Volume
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Full Volume game field and object layout
- Recognize differences between game types and their autonomous and driver-controlled periods
- Describe how and when deactivations and disqualifications are communicated to teams

- Determine whether or not a violation affects the match
Full volume conditions VIQRC and field configuration
The full volume of the VEX IQ robotics competition (VIQRC) is played on a 6′ x 8′ rectangular field, configured as illustrated below.
The goal of the game is to place blocks in goals. Points are assigned according to the number, type and height of blocks in each objective. Points are also available to clean up the feeding area and to park in the feeding area at the end of the game.
In the Teamwork Challenge, an alliance of two (2) robots works together to score as many points as possible in a 60-second game.
Teams can also participate in robotic skill challenge matches, in which a (1) robot tries to score as many points as possible.
