Introduction

This unit describes how and when teams and alliances can earn points in VIQRC Full Volume.

Learning outcomes

After completing this unit, a student should be able to:

  • Explain how objects are noted when the driver's entry and robot movement continue after the end of a match.
  • Assess if a blockage is marked for a purpose
  • Determine whether a goal needs a bonus to be consistent
  • Evaluate the target filling levels and assign the right height bonus
  • Award points for the Stationed status of each robot in the game
  • Identify all ways a team or alliance can earn points during a game
  • Calculate points won by a team or alliance in a match
  • Mark and submit a match electronically or on paper

VIQRC rating

Alliances and teams win points in VIQRC Full Volume by scoring blocks in the goals, cleaning up the refuelling area, removing the blocks from the starting pickets and guaranteeing the robots in the refuelling area at the end of the game. Each of these rating methods has specific criteria that must be met for marks to be awarded.
