Evaluation of human translations from French to Bambara for machine learning: a pilot study
Bambara is the most widely spoken language in Mali, meaning "translator". Bay — Natural language processing (NLP) — bambara and, ultimately, all the other national languages of Mali.All these languages lack resources (written and bilingual texts). They face the challenge of gathering sufficient data to train NLP systems using deep learning techniques.

The project aims to become a national project in Mali as part of its initiative to use science and technology to advance education and economic development. 80% of Malians do not have mastery of the country's official language, French, and they therefore do not have access to information resources that could help them contribute more to national development. The promotion of national languages is therefore an official objective of the Malian government and Bay
